Do you have to have a perfect skin to become a model? This is a question I get all the time from aspiring or beginner models. it’s perfectly normal to have periods where your skin goes through acne phases or hyperpigmentation. There are some brands that are looking for imperfections in your skin so that they can use your face to promote their beauty products. However, in most scenarios brands are going to want MODELS to have clear skin because this allows for less photoshopping to have to take place. So yes, it is possible to get signed to modeling agency even with acne, but most agencies will tell you to resubmit once your face is cleared up and some will go ahead and sign you then…it is all situational based.
