I shouldn’t have filmed this, there is a strict no cameras in a Japanese Onsen because you’re meant to do them with no clothes on. But no one was in there so I quickly got this clip! I didn’t believe my friends when they told me there were no togs allowed, and I asked quite a few, but it’s true! You can find ones where togs are allowed, but the majority you can’t, and they have separate men’s or women’s pools. They are so incredibly hot, I’m sure they’re the reason my muscles didn’t get sore after snowboarding. I loved the little stools where you can sit down and wash your hair before getting in. They supplied all the shampoo, conditioner & soap to use. There is something so relaxing about sitting down to have a shower. I feel like I @baybuilds.co.nz should build us one! This was the one in our hotel, that view 🤩
