'Up to this point, the Government has had it good, in that it hasn't suffered international embarrassment from their digraceful treatment of children with disabilities. Disability rights campaigner Cara Darmody (who is only 14-years-old) held a ‘monster meeting’ rally outside Dáil Éireann today, and vowed to bring international attention to Ireland's failure to uphold its obligations for Assessment of Need for the more than 11,000 children with disabilities waiting for assessment.
